BBC Breakfast - Meeting Andy Murray

We are absolutely delighted to be featured on the BBC once again! This time, it's summer and it's Wimbledon!

A huge congratulations to Hamnah in 5O for being invited by the BBC to meet the World No.1 tennis champion – Sir Andrew Murray OBE - at the prestigious Queen’s Club in Earl’s Court, London! Daubeney Primary was the only school in England to be selected for this wonderful opportunity as part of the build up to Wimbledon 2017. Hamnah, accompanied by her father, Mr Ali, and Mr Naidoo, was absolutely delighted to be part of the event and had this to say:

“It was a very exciting experience even though I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. I was over-the- moon to meet Andy Murray and play a few tennis shots with him. He really enjoyed answering my questions and I learnt a lot about him. He even signed a tennis ball for me!”

We are all very proud of Hamnah and her excellence and once again thank the BBC for another riveting opportunity.
