Year 5 - Hackney School of Food

This week, we went to Hackney School of Food where we learnt about knife skills, kitchen safety and how to create a healthy and balanced meal. We did everything ourselves! We cut our own vegetables, prepared a sauce by grinding up ingredients in a mortar and pestle and even made our own meatballs to serve on top of the couscous.
